Description

Cut as a sweep train, this sheath dress comes in satin and organza with a sweetheart neckline. Embroidery runs across the bodice, and the skirt is layered from the empire seam into a short sweep behind. The sweetheart neckline sits across the chest without needing support. The line holds up for a hall reception or a formal evening ceremony.

Organza gives the layers their fall over the satin lining, so the skirt holds a soft volume to the hem. The embroidery is worked into the bodice rather than laid over it. Fastening at the back, the train skims the floor behind you as you walk. The embroidery is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set embroidery keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin.
