A high-low sheath bridesmaid dress in chiffon with a strapless neckline. The bodice is cut in a diagonal pleat, and the front hem sits above the knee while the back falls into a short sweep. The bodice is cut to hold the neckline up on its own. It works for a bridal party or a formal evening.
Chiffon carries the dress over the lining, so the hem keeps a light line. The pleat runs on the diagonal across the bodice. Lining through the middle keeps the bodice flat. A concealed zip closes the back. A narrow waist seam sets the middle on its own. The hem is finished with a narrow facing rather than a wide band. The skirt gathers at the seam, giving it something to fall from.
