A floor-length A-line evening formal dress in organza and satin with a V-neck. The skirt is pleated from the empire seam to the floor. Set at a moderate depth, the V frames the neck. Sleeveless and light, it suits a formal evening or a prom.

Organza gives the pleats their fall over the satin lining, so the skirt keeps an even line. The neckline opens into a moderate V. The pleats are set into the waist seam. A concealed zip closes the back. The organza carries an even line from the waist to the hem. In organza, the skirt holds its line from the waist down. The pleated is set by hand, so it sits flat against the organza. A narrow waist seam sets the middle on its own.
