Description

A tea-length ball gown flower girl dress in tulle and organza with a scoop neckline. Applique and a ruffle mark the skirt, and it falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. The scoop crosses the chest below the collarbone. The shorter hem lets her move freely.

Tulle and organza layer over the lining, so the ruffle holds its shape. The ruffle is stitched into the skirt seams. Applique is sewn flat against the fabric. Fastening is by a zip at the centre back. The lining is cut to match the skirt, so nothing shows at the hem. Lining trimmed to match the skirt keeps the hem clean. The lining matches the skirt, so no edge shows. The tulle keeps a clean line from the waist down, so the skirt hangs evenly.
