Description

A knee-length A-line midi cocktail dress in satin with a strapless neckline. Applique and beading mark the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to below the knee. The bodice is cut to hold the neckline up on its own. It works for a cocktail party or a graduation party.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the skirt keeps its line. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. The applique sits flat, stitched in place. A hidden zip at the side does the fastening. There is no train, so nothing drags behind you as you walk. With no train, the skirt stays out of the way. Nothing trails behind, so the hem keeps clear as you move. The fabric sits flat across the chest, which keeps the shape tidy.
