A short sheath cocktail party dress in satin and tulle with a bateau neckline. The bodice is beaded, and the dress follows the body to above the knee. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone. Sleeveless and close-cut, it suits a cocktail party or a sweet sixteen.

Tulle gives the dress a light layer over the satin lining, so the sheath keeps its line. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. The bateau edge is faced so it holds. A zip closes down the back. Underneath, the tulle lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The tulle lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight.
