Description

A tea-length sheath wedding dress in satin with an off-the-shoulder neckline and short sleeves. Embroidery runs across the bodice, and the dress follows the body to just below the knee. The band crosses the upper arms, so the collarbone stays open. It reads right for a garden ceremony or a daytime reception.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the sheath keeps a narrow line to the hem. The embroidery is worked into the bodice rather than applied on top. The dress closes with a back zip, and the tea-length hem stays clear of the ground. The skirt is gathered at the seam, which gives it something to fall from. Gathering at the seam keeps the skirt from pulling flat. The skirt gathers at the waist, so it keeps some movement.
