A short sheath semi-formal cocktail dress in satin with a halter neckline. The dress follows the body to above the knee, and the halter leaves the shoulders and back open. The front is lined through the middle. It is cut for a cocktail party or a sweet sixteen.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the sheath keeps a narrow line. The halter is cut to sit on the neck. The bodice is lined through the middle. A zip at the back does the fastening. The sleeves are lined to the cuff, which keeps the arm line tidy. Lined sleeves keep the arm line tidy to the cuff. Each sleeve is lined from shoulder to cuff.
