Description

A knee-length column mother dress in satin with a scoop neckline and short sleeves. Buttons, embroidery and feathers finish the bodice, and the dress falls from the empire seam to below the knee. A jacket is included for the ceremony. The dress reads right in a formal wedding or a reception.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the column keeps a straight line. The sleeves are lined down to the cuff. The buttons are stitched down the bodice, and the feathers are set into the trim. The back fastens on a hidden zip. The button is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set button keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The button is stitched by hand, flush against the satin.
