Description

A short A-line homecoming party dress in chiffon with a strapless neckline. The bodice is beaded, and the skirt falls from the natural waist to above the knee. The bodice is cut to hold the neckline up on its own. It is cut for a homecoming dance or a birthday party.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light fall over the lining, so it holds to the hem. Hand-set beading runs along the bodice. The bodice is lined through the middle. A zip sits in the side seam, out of sight. The beaded is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set beaded keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The beaded is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. For a cocktail party ceremony, the dress reads formal without a full-length skirt.
