Description

Brought to floor length in organza, the dress has a scoop neckline. Applique runs across the bodice, and the skirt flares from the empire seam to the floor. The scoop sits below the collarbone. The dress works for a garden ceremony or a church service.

Organza gives the skirt its shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The sleeves are lined through the arm and stop below the elbow. The applique is stitched down flat across the bodice. The back laces up to set the fit at the ribs. The bodice is lined through the middle, so the front stays smooth. Lining through the bodice keeps the front smooth. The front stays smooth thanks to the bodice lining. The waist seam is kept narrow, so it marks the middle without a belt.
