Description

A high-low A-line cocktail dress in satin with a strapless neckline. Applique and beading mark the bodice, and the front hem sits above the knee while the back falls lower. The bodice is held so the neckline keeps its shape without straps. It works for a cocktail party or a sweet sixteen.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the hem keeps its line. The beading is set by hand along the bodice. The applique is stitched down flat. A lace-up back sets the fit through the ribs. The high-low hem stays clear of the ground, which makes the dress easy to wear. With a high-low hem, the skirt clears the ground as you move.
