Description

A floor-length A-line evening dress in chiffon and satin with a bateau neckline and short sleeves. The bodice carries beading, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone. It is cut for a formal evening or a pageant.

Chiffon and satin layer over the lining, so the skirt keeps a light fall to the hem. Lining runs the length of the sleeve to the cuff. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. A laced back gives some adjustment through the middle. Underneath, the satin lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The satin lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight.
