Description

The A-line line is cut in satin, with a sweetheart neckline. Beaded applique marks the bodice, and the skirt falls from the natural waist to above the knee. Cut as a sweetheart, the neckline holds its own line across the chest. It carries off a reception or a summer garden ceremony.

Over satin lining, tulle holds the skirt in a light line. Beading is applied by hand in a straight line over the bodice. The ruching is stitched into the bodice rather than gathered loose. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. Below the skirt, tulle lining carries the shape to the hem. tulle lining carries the skirt, so the hem hangs straight. The tulle lining underneath holds the hem in an even line.
