Description

A floor-length A-line mother dress in taffeta and lace with a scoop neckline and three-quarter lace sleeves. The bodice carries beading, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor into a short sweep. Cut in a scoop, the neckline sits below the collarbone. The sleeve is cut from lace and ends below the elbow.

Taffeta holds its shape under a lace layer, so the skirt keeps a crisp line. The beading is laid along the bodice by hand. The sleeves are cut to the forearm. The back fastens on a hidden zip.
