Description

A floor-length column mother dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a V-neck and cap sleeves. A ruffle finishes the hem, and the dress falls from the empire seam to the floor into a short sweep. Cut in a V, the neckline stops at a moderate depth. The cap sleeve covers the shoulder only.

Chiffon gives the ruffle its fall over the satin lining, so the hem keeps a clean edge. The ruffle is stitched to the hem rather than gathered loose. The cap sleeves are lined at the edge.
