Description

A floor-length ball gown first communion dress in satin and organza with a bateau neckline and half sleeves. Embroidery, a bow and rhinestones mark the bodice, and the full skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The bateau neckline sits high over the collarbone. The skirt ends just above the floor.

Organza carries the skirt over satin lining to the hem. She will find the inside smooth, with no scratchy seams. The sleeves are lined through the arm. The back fastens on a hidden zip. The embroidery is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set embroidery keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The embroidery is stitched by hand, flush against the satin. The seams are pressed open, which keeps the skirt falling flat.
