Organza, cut to floor length, with a mandarin neckline. Applique, beading and a bow sit on the bodice, and the skirt is full from the empire seam to the floor. The collar closes high at the neck, which covers more than an open cut. The cut fits a hall reception or a church service.

Above the satin lining, the organza keeps the skirt full to the hem. Lined sleeves reach the cuff, and the collar is lined so it stands up rather than folding. The lacing sets the fit through the ribs, and the hem brushes the floor as you walk. Below the skirt, satin lining carries the shape to the hem. satin lining carries the skirt, so the hem hangs straight. The waist seam sits narrow, so the middle stays marked without a belt.
