Description

A floor-length A-line prom formal dress in satin and organza with a scoop neckline and three-quarter sleeves. Applique and beading run across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The scoop falls just below the collarbone. It works for a prom or a formal evening out.

The organza skirt sits above satin lining and keeps its shape. The sleeves are lined through the arm and stop below the elbow. Beading is stitched by hand across the bodice. The dress fastens at the back with a zip. The applique is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set applique keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The applique is stitched by hand, flush against the satin. For a hall ceremony, the dress reads formal without a full-length skirt.
