Description

A short A-line homecoming dress in satin and organza with a V-neck. Beading and applique run across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. Cut at a moderate depth, the V frames the neck. The cut fits a homecoming dance or a graduation party.

Organza gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it moves as you dance. Beading is stitched by hand across the bodice. The applique is stitched down flat. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. There is no train, so nothing drags behind you as you walk. With no train, the skirt stays out of the way. Nothing trails behind, so the hem keeps clear as you move. The fabric sits flat across the chest, which keeps the shape tidy.
