Description

A short column mother formal dress in chiffon with a V-neck and short sleeves. Beading runs over the bodice, and the dress falls from the empire seam to above the knee. The V is cut to a moderate depth. Covered shoulders and a short hem suit a ceremony and the reception that follows.

Chiffon carries the dress over the lining, so the column keeps a light line. Lined to the cuff, the sleeves keep the upper arm covered. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. A hidden zip closes the back. The beading is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set beading keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The beading is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon.
