Description

A short A-line cocktail dress in taffeta and organza with a bateau neckline and half sleeves. Rhinestones mark the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. Cut as a bateau, the neckline sits high on the collarbone. It is cut for a cocktail party or a graduation celebration.

Organza gives the skirt a light shape over the taffeta lining, so it holds to the hem. The sleeves are lined through the arm and stop above the elbow. Rhinestones are worked by hand along the bodice. A zip runs down the centre back. The taffeta keeps a clean line from the waist down, so the skirt hangs evenly. From the waist down, the taffeta holds a clean line to the hem. The skirt keeps its line from the waist to the hem in taffeta.
