Description

A floor-length A-line flower girl dress in satin and organza with a bateau neckline. A sash, bow and applique mark the waist, and the skirt is layered from the empire seam into a short sweep. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone.

Organza gives the layers their shape over the satin lining, so each holds its line. The sash is stitched at the waist. Applique is sewn flat against the fabric. A zip down the centre back takes the fastening. It fastens at the back, so the front line stays clean. The closure sits behind, which keeps the front unbroken. The sash is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set sash keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The sash is stitched by hand, flush against the satin.
