A floor-length A-line prom dress in satin and lace with a V-neck. The lace covers the bodice and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor. The V is cut to a moderate depth. Sleeveless and light, it suits a prom or a formal evening.

The lace layers over satin lining, which keeps the pattern crisp to the hem. Cut to a moderate depth, the V frames the neck. Lining through the middle keeps the bodice flat. The back carries a zip. The satin carries an even line from the waist to the hem. Below the waist, the satin hangs straight. The satin skirt keeps a straight line to the hem. Below the skirt, lace lining carries the shape to the hem. A narrow waist seam sets the middle on its own.
