Description

A floor-length empire evening dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a stand collar and short sleeves. Beading and pleats mark the bodice, and the seam sits high under the bust with the skirt falling to the floor. The collar closes high around the neck. It fits a formal dance, a pageant or a military ball.

Chiffon carries the skirt over the satin lining, so the dress keeps a light fall to the hem. Lining runs the length of the sleeve to the cuff. The collar is lined so it stands up.
