Description

A sweep train sheath dress in satin and tulle, finished with a halter and sweetheart neckline. Applique and beading run across the bodice, and the skirt is cut as a bubble over the hip. The halter leaves the shoulders and back open. It reads right for a hall reception or a formal evening ceremony.

Tulle gives the bubble its shape over the satin lining, so the volume holds without a stiff underskirt. Beading runs along the bodice by hand, laid flat against the fabric. The lace-up back sets the fit, and the train skims the floor behind you. The satin skirt keeps a straight line to the hem. With tulle lining underneath, the hem holds an even line. tulle lining carries the skirt, so the hem hangs straight.
