Description

A short A-line cocktail dress in chiffon with spaghetti straps. A ruffle finishes the hem, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. The straps are thin and sit far apart. The line holds up for a cocktail party or a holiday celebration.

Chiffon gives the ruffle its shape over the lining, so the hem keeps a clean edge. Each strap is cut thin and sewn into the bodice edge. The middle of the bodice is lined. The dress closes on a concealed side zip. The ruffle is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set ruffle keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon.
