Description

A knee-length A-line cocktail party dress in satin and tulle with a strapless neckline. Embroidery runs across the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to below the knee. The front is lined so the neckline holds without straps. It is cut for a cocktail party or a night out.

Tulle gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The bodice carries the embroidery within its weave. The middle of the bodice is lined. The back laces up to set the fit at the ribs. The skirt gathers at the waist, so it keeps some movement. The skirt keeps its line from the waist to the hem in satin. Underneath, the tulle lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level.
