Description

A tea-length A-line first communion dress in satin and organza with a scoop neckline. Beading and applique mark the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. The scoop runs below the collarbone. The hem finishes below the knee, off the ground.

Over the satin lining, organza keeps the skirt light to the hem. The inside is finished soft, which matters over a long day. Hand-set beading runs along the bodice. A zip closes down the back. The fabric sits flat across the chest, which keeps the shape tidy. Across the chest, the fabric sits flat and smooth. The front panel sits flat, which keeps the bodice looking neat. The middle is marked by a narrow seam at the waist.
