Description

A floor-length sheath evening dress in chiffon with spaghetti straps. The skirt is cut in layers from the empire seam to the floor. The straps are thin and sit far apart, which keeps the shoulders open. It works for a pageant or a formal evening.

Chiffon gives the layers their fall over the lining, so each holds its line. The straps are cut narrow and stitched into the bodice edge. The layers are set into the waist seam. The back is closed with a hidden zip. The chiffon keeps a clean line from the waist down, so the skirt hangs evenly. From the waist down, the chiffon holds a clean line to the hem. The skirt keeps its line from the waist to the hem in chiffon. Underneath, the chiffon lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level.
