A short Empire-line wedding dress in chiffon with a square neckline. The waist seam sits high under the bust, and the skirt falls from there to above the knee. The square neckline frames the collarbone rather than dropping low, and the bodice is draped rather than fitted flat. It suits a beach ceremony or a summer reception.

Chiffon sits over the lining, so the draping falls in soft folds without clinging. The high waist lengthens the line above the skirt, which balances the short hem.
