Over the satin lining, organza carries the skirt, so the volume holds to the hem. Sleeves are lined down the arm and end above the elbow. The beading is set by hand along the neckline, which keeps it sitting flat. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. The lining is cut to match the skirt, so nothing shows at the hem. Lining trimmed to match the skirt keeps the hem clean.
