Description

A tea-length A-line flower girl dress in satin and organza with a halter neckline. Embroidery and hand-made flowers mark the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. The halter leaves the shoulders open.

Organza gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds its line. Flowers at the waist are sewn in place instead of pinned. The halter sits on the neck rather than the shoulders. The dress closes with a zip at the centre back. The embroidery is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin. Hand-set embroidery keeps the detail sitting flat on the satin. The embroidery is stitched by hand, flush against the satin. The tea-length hem stays clear of the ground, which makes the dress easy to wear.
