Description

A floor-length A-line plus size mother dress in chiffon and lace with a bateau neckline and half sleeves. The bodice is beaded, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to the floor into a short sweep. Cut as a bateau, the neckline sits high on the collarbone. The sleeve flares slightly from the elbow.

Chiffon and lace layer over the lining, so the skirt keeps a light fall to the hem. The beading is laid along the bodice by hand. The sleeves are lined through the arm. The side seam hides the zip that closes the dress. Underneath, the lace lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The lace lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight. With lace lining below, the hem keeps an even line.
