Description

A knee-length A-line wedding dress in organza with a V-neck and half sleeves. Applique is set across the bodice, and the sleeves stop above the elbow, which leaves the forearm free. The hem stops just below the knee. The organza layer gives the dress some volume at the hem without a long skirt to manage.

Organza sits over satin lining, so the skirt holds its shape without stiffening. The applique is stitched down flat rather than applied on top, and a zipper back closes the bodice cleanly. Half sleeves and a short hem make this practical for a reception that runs from afternoon into the evening. The bodice is lined to the waist, so the applique stays flat against the chest.
