Description

A floor-length sheath evening dress in chiffon, cut as two pieces with a scoop neckline. A skirt in layers runs from the empire seam to the floor, and the middle stays uncovered between the pieces. Cut in a scoop, the neckline sits below the collarbone. It is cut for a formal evening or a birthday party.

Chiffon gives the layers their fall over the lining, so each holds its line. The two pieces are cut to sit together at the waist. Cut level, the scoop crosses the chest evenly. A hidden zip at the side does the fastening. Underneath, the chiffon lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The chiffon lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight. With chiffon lining below, the hem keeps an even line. The zipper side closes the dress, which keeps the back looking tidy.
