Description

A floor-length trumpet mother dress in satin with a V-neck. Beading covers the bodice, and the skirt follows the body before flaring below the knee. The V is cut to a moderate depth. Sleeveless and close-cut, it works under a jacket for the ceremony and alone for the dancing.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the flare keeps its shape to the hem. The bodice is worked with hand-set beading. The bodice is lined through the middle. A zip at the back does the fastening. Underneath, the satin lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The satin lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight.
