Description

A floor-length empire mother dress in chiffon and lace with a V-neck and three-quarter sleeves. Hand-made flowers mark the waist, and the seam sits high under the bust with the skirt falling to the floor into a short sweep. Cut in a V, the neckline stops at a moderate depth. The sleeve is cut from lace and ends below the elbow.

Chiffon and lace layer over the lining, so the skirt keeps a light fall to the hem. The flowers are stitched at the waist rather than pinned. The sleeve runs to just below the elbow. It closes with a back zip. It fastens at the back, so the front line stays clean. The closure sits behind, which keeps the front unbroken. The hand made flower is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon.
