Description

A floor-length column evening dress in satin with a one-shoulder neckline and three-quarter sleeves. The bodice is beaded, and the dress falls from the empire seam to the floor. The neckline sits on one shoulder with the other bare. It works just as well in a formal evening or a prom.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the column keeps a straight line. The sleeves are lined through the arm and stop below the elbow. Beading is stitched by hand across the bodice. A zip closes down the back. The skirt is gathered at the seam, which gives it something to fall from. Gathering at the seam keeps the skirt from pulling flat. The skirt gathers at the waist, so it keeps some movement. Lined sleeves keep the arm line tidy to the cuff.
