Description

A knee-length A-line bridesmaid dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a strapless neckline. The bodice is cut in a diagonal pleat with applique, and the skirt falls from the natural waist to below the knee. The bodice is built so the neckline holds without straps.

The skirt drops lightly in chiffon over the satin lining. A diagonal pleat crosses the bodice. The applique is stitched down flat. A zip at the back closes it. The diagonal pleat is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set diagonal pleat keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The diagonal pleat is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. The knee-length hem keeps the skirt off the ground.
