Description

A tea-length A-line wedding dress in organza with an off-the-shoulder neckline and short sleeves. Embroidery runs across the bodice and a ruffle finishes the hem below the knee. It rests on the upper arms rather than the shoulders, so the collarbone stays open. That balance works for a reception or a garden ceremony.

Organza sits over satin lining, so the ruffle keeps its shape through the day. The off-the-shoulder band is stitched to sit flat against the arm rather than slipping. A lace-up back adjusts the fit through the ribs, and the buttons run down the centre over the closure. There is no train to carry. The skirt is gathered at the waist, which gives the ruffle something to fall from. The short sleeves are lined to the cuff.
