Description

A short A-line wedding dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a strapless neckline. The bodice is beaded and ruched, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. The bodice sits firm enough to keep the neckline in place. The cut fits a beach ceremony or a summer reception.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. Beading runs by hand along the bodice in a true line. The ruching is stitched into the bodice rather than gathered loose. The dress fastens at the back with a zip. Underneath, the elastic woven satin lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The waist seam sits narrow, so the middle stays marked without a belt.
