A knee-length A-line mother formal dress in satin and tulle with a bateau neckline and short sleeves. Applique runs across the bodice, and the skirt flares from the empire seam to below the knee. The bateau edge rides high across the collarbone. It works for a formal wedding or a reception.

Tulle gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds to the hem. The sleeves are lined down to the cuff. Applique is sewn flat against the fabric. A zip closes down the back.
