Description

A knee-length ball gown wedding dress in organza and satin with an off-the-shoulder neckline. Applique runs along the neckline, and the skirt is full from the empire seam to below the knee. The band crosses the upper arms, so the collarbone stays open. That balance works for a garden ceremony or a formal daytime reception.

Organza carries the skirt over the satin lining, so the volume holds without a stiff underskirt. The applique is stitched down flat along the neckline. The lace-up back takes up the fit through the ribs, and the hem stops below the knee, clear of the ground. The lining is cut to match the skirt, so nothing shows at the hem.
