Description

A short A-line cocktail dress in chiffon with a sweetheart neckline. Rhinestones and sequins mark the bodice, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. A faced sweetheart line keeps the curve across the chest. It works for a cocktail party or a sweet sixteen.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light fall over the lining, so it holds to the hem. Hand-set rhinestones run across the bodice. A laced back gives some adjustment through the middle. The rhinestone is set by hand, so it sits flat against the chiffon. Hand-set rhinestone keeps the detail sitting flat on the chiffon. The rhinestone is stitched by hand, flush against the chiffon. The waist seam sits narrow, so the middle stays marked without a belt.
