Description

The dress runs to short in chiffon, with a sweetheart neckline. The bodice is diagonally pleated, and the dress falls from the empire seam to above the knee. The sweetheart cut sweeps level across the chest. The line holds in a beach ceremony or a summer reception.

Chiffon gives the skirt a light shape over the lining, so it holds to the hem. The cap sleeves are lined at the edge, and the pleats are set into the bodice. A hidden zip at the side does the fastening, and the short hem stays clear of the sand. Below the waist, the chiffon hangs straight. In chiffon, the skirt holds its line from the waist down. Below the skirt, chiffon lining carries the shape to the hem.
