Description

A floor-length sheath formal mother dress in chiffon and elastic woven satin with a V-neck and short sleeves. The bodice is pleated, and the dress follows the body into a short sweep. The V is cut to a moderate depth. The short sleeve covers the shoulder only.

Chiffon carries the dress over the satin lining, so the sheath keeps a light line. Pleats are stitched into the bodice rather than pressed flat. The sleeve covers the shoulder only. A zip closes the back. The skirt keeps its line from the waist to the hem in chiffon. Underneath, the elastic woven satin lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. With elastic woven satin lining below, the hem keeps an even line. The waist seam sits narrow, so the middle stays marked without a belt.
