Description

A tea-length A-line mother dress in satin with a bateau neckline and short sleeves. The bodice carries beading, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to just below the knee. Cut as a bateau, the neckline sits high on the collarbone. It reads right for a formal wedding or a reception.

Satin holds an even surface over the full lining, so the skirt keeps its line to the hem. Each sleeve carries lining to the cuff. The bodice is beaded by hand in a straight row. The back carries a zip. Below the skirt, satin lining carries the shape to the hem. The satin lining runs below and keeps the hem straight. The beading is set by hand, so it sits flat against the satin.
