Description

A sweep train A-line wedding dress in organza and satin with a sweetheart neckline and straps. The bodice is beaded, and the skirt flares from the empire seam into a short sweep. The straps hold the neckline in place and leave the shoulders open. The dress works for a garden ceremony or a hall reception.

Organza gives the skirt its shape over the satin lining, so the sweep holds to the hem. The straps are cut narrow and stitched into the bodice edge. Hand-set beading runs along the bodice. Lacing at the back takes up the fit across the ribs. The sweetheart neckline is cut to sit level across the chest. The sweetheart neckline sits level, which keeps the bodice straight. Cut level, the sweetheart neckline holds the front straight.
