Description

A short A-line flower girl dress in satin and organza with a scoop neckline. Hand-made flowers mark the waist, and the skirt falls from the empire seam to above the knee. Cut in a scoop, the neckline sits below the collarbone. The hem stops above the knee, so she can run about freely.

Organza gives the skirt a light shape over the satin lining, so it holds its line. The waist flowers are stitched on rather than pinned. The middle of the bodice is lined. A concealed zip does the fastening at the back. Underneath, the organza lining holds the shape, so the hem stays level. The organza lining carries the shape, which keeps the hem sitting straight. With organza lining below, the hem keeps an even line. The zipper back closes the dress, which keeps the back looking tidy.
